Responding to the medical transport industry's need for increased research efforts, The Center's initial partners, MedFlight of Ohio and Omniflight, have provided start-up sponsorship and physical/virtual office space to create this independent 501(c) 3 corporation. The Center is also supported through the funding of grant initiatives - recent funding has been received from MedEvac Foundation International and the Air Medical Operators Association.

The Center collaborates with the State Network of Colorado Ambulatory Practices and Partners (SnoCAP) at the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado Denver to develop web platforms and secure repositories for network data. Additional partnerships will evolve as we begin to develop practice-based research networks across the country.
